polka dots + tulle

polka dots + tulle
Happy Friday y'all:) :) I'm seriously so beyond happy its the weekend, Matt and I are leaving to Vegas today and I couldn't be happier! I need this little break more than anything. Life has been so crazy and chaotic for me, so I'm really excited.

But today's outfit...its one of my favorites! I have been wanting a tulle skirt for awhile now, and I finally bought one at the Called to Surf shop here in Provo. I got a killer deal on it and this baby was only like $35! Every girl needs to have a tulle skirt in her closet! Its not going to get girlier than this! And surprisingly you can wear it with several things. I loved feeling ultra feminine in this tulle skirt, and I paired it with a classic black polka dot  top, which I thought gave it more of a classy overall look. I feel like my style is a good mix of casual looks, edgier looks, and then girly looks. I think that getting dressed up in a staple piece like a tulle skirt is the perfect confidence booster, what girl doesn't love to feel feminine and girly? Because that's what this skirt does, just give you confidence! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend and go buy a tulle skirt;)

I'm going to keep today's post short because I have been crazy busy lately. I work 60+ hours a week and this is usually how I look. Really messy bun and a casual comfy outfit. I'm pretty obsessed with this sweater from Aeropostale, its comfortable and warm. I love the color though cause it can go with so many things! Also, I got these flats a couple weeks ago and I literally cannot stop wearing them. I love finding shoes like that, shoes that become your go to! Thanks for reading and Happy Wednesday!!! :)

Sometimes getting all dressed up is just so fun, and wearing a girly dress like this one just makes it so much better. I feel so flirty and girly in this Little Mistress number. I love the mocha coloring of this dress, and I'm obsessed with the lace on the upper part and then the sleeves! Ah!! I love long sleeved dresses, its just a little classier I feel like. Not only do we have lace but we have the flowy chiffon on the bottom so I had a little too much fun twirling around in this thing! Its all around your perfect girly dress. Any piece of clothing that has lace is going to make you feel ultra feminine and this baby does just that! I feel like this dress is pretty simple yet its totally not, its the perfect dress for a night out or a party! Little Mistress has the prettiest dresses, that I'm always drooling over, so y'all need to go check out their site! :)

Color of the Year with Sole Society: Part 2

Color of the Year with Sole Society: Part 2
The great thing about the color of the year, radiant orchid, is that it has so many shades of it so it can be worn so many different ways. Like I said in Monday's post hereSole Society offers so many different types of shoes where you can show off radiant orchid! I absolutely LOVE these heels, I love the shade of radiant orchid and they are seriously the comfiest heels no joke! I could wear them all the time. I paired them with a pretty low key and comfy outfit, my favorite jeans and this fun neon splatter top, I really wanted the focus to be on the heels. The detailing on these heels is just the cherry on top of my version of the perfect heel to show off this year's color of the year! Also, its probably the perfect shade of it for Spring, I can't wait to wear it with all my Spring dresses! Plus these heels are now on sale so its even better because you get some pretty darn cute heels for a great price!

adding a necklace

adding a necklace
Yesturday I guest posted over at Mindy Mae's Market blog featuring one of their beautiful necklaces! Its the perfect necklace to add to an outfit that needs a little sparkle and a finishing touch. I like to wear simple pieces sometimes but you really need to add a statement necklace to something like this, it can add so much to an outfit! This necklace really is going to be one of my most used necklaces because its so classic and the perfect accessory. And with the transition to Spring coming along, this outfit is my go to, booties are one thing you can always see me wear and I have a feeling that they will be here to stay all Spring long.
