low calorie summer treats
So on the 4th of July I did a segment on low calorie treats on The Daily Dish. You can watch the segment HERE!
It was a lot of fun to do the segment and I seriously love these treats! Super easy to make, and fun! The best part is they are healthy and you don't have to feel guilty about eating/drinking them!

Healthy Frozen Fruit Pops
(originally found on Pinterest here)
(These are so yummy and they taste delicious! Have to be my favorite! They are only 32 CALORIES!!!! Crazy! Super healthy and good for you! All natural!)

Ingredients:
*1/3 cup diced kiwi
*1/3 cup diced watermelon
*1/3 cup diced strawberries
*1/3 cup diced pineapple
*1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice or orange juice

Directions:
*Combine diced fruit in a bowl and fill each 5 oz cup with fruit. Add 1 tbsp of juice and insert craft stick into each cup. They easily stay in place because of all the fruit. Place in the freezer a few hours until firm. To remove the pops, run under warm water a few seconds and then enjoy!

Low Calorie Slushy:

(This is super good and tasty! Its only 250 calories!)

Ingredients:
*1 cup of ice cubes
*1 cup of chopped strawberries
*2 bananas
*1/2 can of Diet 7-Up or Sprite
(you can add sugar substitute if you want to sweeten it up a little!)

Directions:
*Put everything into the blender. Mix it up, blend it on whatever settings you like until smooth. Then enjoy!

I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July! I know I did, it was relaxing and it was so much fun. I'll talk more about that tomorrow, and I will also have some great recipes for summer treats to show y'all. I was asked to do a segment on ABC4's The Daily Dish yesterday on low calorie treats for this summer so I'll post that link tomorrow!
But today I have an outfit that I absolutely love and its one of my favorites! Not only is it sporting some red, white, and blue but it has paisley which I love. I paired this J.Crew skirt with a white button up with some cute stars on the pocket which to me really made it a casual dressed up look. And I added some hoop diamond earrings to go with my fun heels!

Beauty Essentials for Curls

Beauty Essentials for Curls
I just wanted to say that I love reading all of y'alls comments, they are so sweet! So thanks so much for reading everyone:)
Today I'm talking about hair! Lately my favorite way to style my hair is to curl it. I love how there is different ways to curl it but I also love how curls look. My favorite way to curl it is the beachy wave look, so basically loose curls. I don't like using a lot of products but the ones that I do work amazingly well and get the job done! So I'm just going to explain the products I use and the steps I take to curl my hair.
”curls,
1. I always first use Nexxus Heat Protexx Heat Protection before I curl my hair. I think its so important to be using heat protector before you put any sort of heat on your hair. I've used a lot of different kinds but this one is definitely my favorite! I like the way it smells better than others and I really feel like it does its job well!
2. I then curl my hair with Sultra Bombshell Curling Rod, I much rather use a curling rod than I standard curling iron. Its much easier for me to curl the type of curls I like to have.
3. So after I curl my hair I then use Moroccan Oil to help with my fly aways and give my hair some shine. So it really controls my frizz and it gives a great glossy and finished look. I love Moroccan Oil, it is a little pricey but it lasts forever!! I have had the tiniest bottle for about a year now and I have plenty left. But this stuff is great, I also use it when I get out of the shower. It also is said that it can help with split ends.
4. So lastly I use L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray. This is my favorite hairspray y'all! Its seriously the best. It works great and holds my curls perfectly all day and doesn't make them stiff whatsoever.

So there you have it, those are the products I use when curling my hair. If you have any questions, just send me an email:) Also don't forget about the $300 J.Crew Gift Card Giveaway!! You can get yourself some fun items for Summer, enter the giveaway HERE!

Happy Tuesday:)
